uDAC2

While I wouldn’t call myself an audiophile, I can certainly enjoy the benefits of high quality audio fidelity. When I’m coding, I like to put on the music and just drown everything out… it’s a feeling of immersion you rarely get to feel elsewhere.

Since I spend so much time with my music, I make sure it’s as good as I can afford. A pair of super plush and super comfortable Audio Technica ATH-AD700′s (open back), and a NuForce uDAC2 for converting the music off the computer. What can I say, I like nice things. Maybe someday I’ll pick up a pair of Grados or AKGs… but till then, I think the Audio Technicas are great bang for the buck.
